Chef Eliane of La Serviette Blanche, a multiple award winning culinary business based in Cannes, introduced this fun food lovers walking tour where hungry foodies get the opportunity to experience this elegant beachside resort like a local in a neighborhood where people live, eat and shop.Our aim is to get you acquainted with delicious French & Mediterranean flavors that are not only about simplicity but also considered the best.

We’ll stroll down the narrow-cobbled streets of the old town lined with little specialty shops and restaurants where you will visit authentic places, mostly centered in-and around Marché Forville, the famous Provencal market, where you will sample a variety of fabulous French foods that will certainly please your palette.

Flavors of the Cote d’Azur captures the culinary essence of the south of France and the Mediterranean.

Culinary walking tours are a unique way to sample culinary delights from a specific region or city.

Together with your friendly French born bi-lingual guide, you will explore the food lover’s neighborhood and capture the essence of French cuisine from a local perspective. 

What will you taste?

• French pastries, artisanal chocolate, top French cheeses, tapenades, charcuterie, and some other specialties.
• Duration: 2½ hours
• Time: 10.00 am
• Meeting point: in front of the Cannes Tourism Office, next to the Casino and Palais de Festival
• During the tour, we will also stop at a typical French café where you can enjoy a glass of regional rosé or a cup of coffee
• Each tasting has been chosen and paid for by La Serviette Blanche. 

While the area is mostly quite flat, no high hills and no high stairs, we recommend to wear comfortable shoes for walking.

Bookings can be made through our website, Expedia.com or Office de Tourisme de Cannes. We do not accept any walk-ups or cash payment.

When you complete your booking and payment on our secure website you will receive an email confirmation that contains your booking details and directions where to meet your guide.

Corporate group tours can be booked upon request.

To inquire about a private tour, please fill out the form on our Booking and Reservations page. You will be contacted within 24 hours to inform you if the date and time requested is available.

The requirements for a private tour:

There is a standard cost to book a private tour. For special group tours, we can accommodate from 1-16 people. If you book well in advance chances are that we might be able to accommodate your needs.

Terms & Conditions

Advance payment must be made to secure a tour reservation. Tour cancellations are not refundable, but the participant may postpone their tour to a later date if the request is made via email at least 24 hours before any tour. Requests received within 24 hours before the tour will be addressed on a case by case basis. Alternatively, the participant may substitute their spot with another person.

La Serviette Blanche/Flavors of the Cote d’Azur reserves the right to cancel tours for any reason or if there are less than 5 participants on a tour. In such an event, the participant may opt to reschedule or receive a full refund. Components of the tour may be modified at ‘Flavors of the Cote d’Azur' discretion. Tours run in all weather conditions unless otherwise indicated. Flavors of the Cote d’Azur is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage that the participant may incur while on a tour.
